A place for surfers, yogis, and people doing quiet work — without pretense, without production.

Steps from Marea and Lourdes. One-minute walk to the surf break. 45 minutes from Zihuatanejo International — direct from Houston, Dallas, LAX, Denver, Chicago, CDMX.

Yours anytime during your stay. Community classes Sun · Wed · Fri at 5 PM. Manduka mats, blocks, bolsters, straps.
Pool, ice baths, gym, sauna
The barrel sauna and the Plunge ice bath sit together beside the pool and are shared by both cabins. The plunge is professional — filtered and temperature-controlled, not a tub of ice. An air-conditioned gym on the grounds, with surf-fitness sessions available. Pool and outdoor showers shared.

Women-owned and run
Templo is owned and run by two women, Addie and Jordan. We built it as the place we wanted to stay: somewhere you can travel alone, surf early, and feel at home.

Accommodations

Two stays,
entirely private

The treehouse is the showpiece — glass walls, copper tub, its own kitchen, elevated in the palm canopy. The poolhouse sits steps from the water, bordered by towering bamboo, with its own gated courtyard and everything you need: full kitchen, AC, king bed. Book one or both for a quieter, more private stay. Both share a barrel sauna and a professional ice bath beside the pool, plus the gym and the shala.

Practice

The shala
in the trees

Hexagonal. Screened. Open air. Room for 16. Classes three days a week at 5 PM — when the light goes gold and the birds start up. Between sessions, the shala is yours. Manduka mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, foam rollers.

All class revenue goes directly to the instructors. Not a hotel add-on. The real thing.

The wave

La Saladita

Warm water. A left that peels for hundreds of meters along the point — rides so long you forget where you started. Breaks year-round. Bigger swells May through October, smaller and glassier in winter.

One-minute walk from Templo to the break — one of the closest accommodations to the wave. Board storage on site.
